As a proud father of two sons who graduated from college in 2007, Omar has more than 25 years of experience with youth organizations. As a conscious parent he became involved in community counseling and mentoring programs for inner-city youth. Expressing styles of music, song, and drumming, Omar brings his dynamic grace and unique flavor as he shares his unique gift with the Maui community. "Uncle O", as he is fondly known by the youth, expresses his love of children by mentoring and teaching them how to experience their own connection with Spirit through music and life.
